Not much hip-hop has been exciting me lately but these guys are something different and lots of fun.

PMKFA, AKA Michael Thorsby, first came to my attention through his work for the Swiss record label La Vida Locash. Mixing contempary graphics with those you would associate more with the 1970/80s hes got a really unique signature style thats been popping up everywhere from his own clothing line Its Our Thing to the pages of Arkitip Magazine.
Tons of work up on his site worth checking out.

I love this guys stuff, really cute style of illustration with all sorts of bizarre refrences. Think one eyed monsters, skateboarding brains, slimey type…etc. It all reminds me alot of the kind of stuff id draw in the back of copy books at school, except much better. Clients have included Dazed and Confused, Lynx, Vice and Playstation.

“A wiggly design collective started by French Crisp and Waspy Steven and a host of enablers called ‘Famous NAMES’. Presently there are designers in NYC, Tokyo, and Montreal w/ one guest designer featured each season.”
New Simian Mobile Disco video directed by Ace Norton.
The older one by Saam Farahmand is great too.

Born in Philadelphia but now living in New York, Jonathan Cammisa illustration has been some of my favourite for a while now.
His work reminds me of a good horror movie, dark, morbid and a little unsettling. Expect to see mutated animals, skulls and severed limbs combined into an incredibly detailed montage of gruesomeness that characterizes his work.
He is also one half of East River Drive along with Jonah Birns and the pair have released some clothing through the UARM label thats worth having a look at (the Video Epic section is theirs).

I dont know much about these guys besides that they are from Finland and they like animals.
Check their site for a really unique style of illustration and some solid typography.
